Beautiful oval wall mirror with a wrought iron frame, handcrafted in France, in a mid-century brutalist style, vintage 1950s-1970s. The patinated metal frame is topped with a wide hanging ring adorned with a stylized fleur-de-lis motif. The mirror, with felt backing, is held in place by metal tabs on the reverse. Total height with the ring: 53cm; height of the mirror alone: approximately 37cm; maximum width: 28cm; depth: 4cm. In very good overall condition for its age, with some minor, discreet chips in the glass near the two lower rear attachments and a few fine surface scratches on the top of the frame. Approximately 4kg.
