Rare Vintage Victorian-style Three-strand Trochus Necklace, Antique Collection
Superb and rare, a three-strand necklace of iridescent yellow Trochus shells, strung on cotton thread with a recent, strong, and clean restringing. It features a beautiful, intricately worked brass clasp. Vintage, mid-20th century, 1960s-70s, in an antique, Art Deco, Victorian style. A crystal bead adorns each end of the strands. The longest strand measures approximately 43 cm, the second around 40 cm, and the shortest approximately 39 cm. In very good overall condition, although there are a few minor, discreet signs of wear on some of the shells. Approximately 47 grams
