Mid-century Chrome, Cork And 1970s Glass Top

Superb and rare decorative or serving tray, vintage Mid-Century 1970s, Space Age/Hollywood Regency style... Made in Italy. Magnificent cork tray full of detail, under glass, silvered chrome frame, thin frame with two long rectangular handles on either side. Wooden base. Very fine craftsmanship, very clean quality. In the style of Tommaso Barbi, R. Debladis Paris, Romeo Rega... No formal attribution, unsigned, but a beautiful object. 31cm square, 33.5cm maximum width at the handles, 1.8cm high. Very good overall condition, glass, cork, and wooden backing intact and clean. Chrome frame with small, scattered, and discreet scratches except on the left side where they are more present and more noticeable. Minor soiling under the chrome rim, discreet, leave as is. Approximately 1.5 kg.
