NOVARO JC, exceptional master glassmaker of the 20th century, born in Antibes on October 18, 1943 Jean Claude NOVARO grew up in BIOT, he left school at 14 to start as an apprentice at the glassworks of Eloi Monod. At only 20 years old, he became Master Glassmaker and Head of the Hall supervising a team of 40 craftsmen. In 1977 with his wife, he founded his own workshop in Biot, after a period in Paris he returned there permanently in 1984. JC NAVARO marked the art of glass and is often compared to emblematic figures such as DAUM, LALIQUE or GALLE, he died in Monacole "in December 2014.
