A very beautiful and rare polychrome earthenware flask from the late 19th century, in the style of the 18th century, signed A. Montagnon on the base. Founded in 1648 in Nevers, the company was acquired by Antoine Montagnon in 1875. He received a medal of merit at the 1876 Philadelphia Universal Exposition, a gold medal at the 1878 Paris Exposition, and a second gold medal at the 1889 Paris Universal Exposition. This is a very beautiful, large flask with superb decoration! In very good condition! 43 cm high with its stopper and 40 cm wide, 30 cm wide, and 19 cm thick. A visually stunning piece! Heavy, stable, and of very high quality!
