Sloping Desk - 18th Century
Walnut marquetry sloping desk, the top decorated with a geometric design centered on a compass rose. It opens with a flap revealing a richly appointed interior of twelve visible drawers and three concealed drawers.
The belt is embellished with two side drawers. The ensemble rests on four cambered legs, characteristic of the Louis XV style.
