Pair Of Fireside Armchairs
Elegant pair of fireside armchairs known as "aux dauphins", in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. The curved backrests rest on carved dolphin-shaped arm brackets, while the saber-shaped back legs recall the characteristic lines of Empire furniture.
Empire period work, very early 19th century.
The armchairs have benefited from restoration of the structure and seats. They are freshly upholstered in fabric in the Burberry taste.
