Torcello in the Venetian Lagoon.
The waterway in the foreground is spanned by the bridge known as the ‘Devil’s Bridge’, on either side of which are depicted, on one side, a sailing boat with figures on board, and on the other, a rural building overlooking the water.
The dimensions are 46 x 80 cm. It features a contemporary lacquered wooden frame with gold highlights, measuring 61 x 94 x 4 cm, and includes anti-reflective/museum-grade glass.
The condition is very good. A superficial cleaning has been carried out. The work was created in the early 20th century.
It is signed “A. Prosdocimi F.” in the lower left corner.
