Gifted self-taught painter, native of Beaujolais where he created paintings, watercolors, Indian ink, charcoal... to the point of becoming in the 70s/80s the major painter of Beaujolais. Through his books, illustrations, multiple exhibitions, he is also the initiator of the tourist information and tourist trail in the region. He did a lot for the knowledge of the Beaujolais region.
