Neoclassical medallion in white marble, in relief, depicting a male profile, late 18th century.
These small medallions were often brought back from Roman workshops during the Grand Tour. An inscription on the reverse reads: "Souvenir of a luncheon. Nice tribute. Ph. C.... 1/5/1916." The plexiglass base is not included.
