Large Gothic Wooden Candle Holder, 19th Century
Important Gothic-style carved oak picnic table, waxed and discreetly rechambered in old gold, Napoleon III period. Magnificent carving throughout. Tripod base in the shape of a chapel, decorated with gilding and floral motifs. The top of the fixture is encircled by an openwork metal gallery. This candlestick is in good condition, with a few small, but not serious, marks (visible on detail photos), and the metal spike is slightly tilted. Very nice item.
