Our painting is signed lower left Gaston Corbier, painter born in Sainte in 1869 and died in 1945, renowned in particular for his seascapes and bouquets of flowers. This painting with bright and shimmering colors has undergone a very small old restoration. (see last photo) It is presented in a magnificent old frame in wood and gilded stucco in the Louis XV style, very richly carved and molded.
