Art Deco Liqueur Service In Cobalt Blue Overlaid Crystal Saint-louis France, Silver Rimmed 1930

Cobalt blue overlay crystal liqueur/port service. Attributed to the Saint-Louis manufactory, with a similar model appearing in the 1930 catalogue.
Comprising one liqueur decanter and six matching glasses.

The decanter: ovoid body with vertical fluting, featuring a layer of deep blue crystal over a clear ground. Neck mounted with a solid silver collar, Minerva hallmark. Side pouring spout. Base engraved with the number 39. Topped with an applied cut-crystal stopper (not original).

The six glasses: same ribbed decoration as the decanter, blue overlay crystal on white. Star-shaped feet with a rosette underneath the base.

Condition: the set is in perfect condition, with brilliantly lustrous crystal, like new. One tiny scratch should be noted on the body of the decanter (see last photograph). No chips, no cracks.

A very slight mark is also visible on the silver collar, just below the Minerva hallmark — it may look like a small secondary hallmark, but it is in fact an accidental tiny knock; it is entirely minimal.
