Oval-shaped frame in gilded wood and stucco. Louis XV–style work dating from the 19th century. Suitable for framing paintings or mirrors.
Rich high-relief ornamentation, pierced around the perimeter. The décor features large leafy scrolls, rinceaux, and stylized interlacing acanthus leaves, creating a dynamic movement typical of the Rocaille repertoire. The sight edge is highlighted by a continuous frieze of vegetal motifs.
The piece retains its original gilding with a well-preserved patina. Very good overall condition; minor losses to the gilding and light age-related wear to note.
