Charming small oratory or occasional cabinet in solid walnut, which can also be used as a lectern, writing desk, etc. It rests on a plinth that extends beyond the front and is encircled by a baseboard. The front opens with a door featuring a panel decorated with diamond points and a large drawer with a thick molding. The interior of the cabinet is equipped with a shelf for storage. The sides are divided into three flat panels. The upper part of the cabinet forms a lectern/writing desk. It has a steeply inclined surface ending in a shaped molding to hold documents, books, etc. Please note that this section is fixed. This piece is a beautiful example of solid walnut craftsmanship from the late 19th/early 20th century.
