Dining Table By Philippe Starck, "joe Ship" Model, Circa 1982
Artist: Philippe Starck
Designed by Philippe Starck around 1982, the "Joe Ship" model was produced by Les 3 Suisses and XO, and offered as a modular concept.
The lacquered metal legs support the tabletop via a clamp system.
The tabletop could be made of glass, stone, or melamine, and was available in round, rectangular, or square shapes.
The legs were also offered in three heights: 35, 56, or 73 cm, allowing for the creation of coffee or side tables, end tables, consoles, or dining tables.
This particular model features a round, thick, clear glass tabletop, 120 cm in diameter, in very good condition, supported by three 73 cm high legs.
The last two photos are advertising images from the period.
This model is no longer in production.
Height 73 cm, diameter 120 cm.
Excellent overall condition, consistent with its age and use.
Shipping costs will be extra.
