Wrought iron fire shovel - 18th century. Small ember shovel or fire shovel used to scoop embers and place them in a fire shovel or pipe warmer. Wrought iron model, assembled with iron rivets and brass reinforcement. The handle is carved and ends in a finial. In used condition. Some material is missing from the end of the shovel (erosion from fire). Length 22 cm, width 3.7 cm
