Antique Molded Glass Hen-shaped Candy Dish, Early 20th Century, 1900s-1920s
A very beautiful large clear molded glass candy dish depicting a hen incubating her eggs in a woven basket. The quality of the molding is superb, with very fine details and excellent craftsmanship. European manufacture from the early 20th century (1900-1920), reminiscent of the work of Portieux and Valerysthal.
Length 20cm, width 16cm, maximum height 17cm, base only 6.5cm high. In very good overall condition, with only a few extremely discreet micro-chips on the inner rim of the base, invisible once the lid is in place. Approximately 800-900g.
