The Abbey of Saint-Antoine-et-Saint-Pierre of Lézat is a Cluniac abbey founded around the 10th century. It exerted a significant regional influence and possessed numerous dependent priories in southern France. Brother Ponce de Mornac (Poncius de Mornaco) was a Benedictine monk of this abbey. He appears in several charters of the Lézat cartulary and is mentioned as prior of the priory of Monts. He died in 1281 (MCCLXXXI).
