Carved Wood Panel. 15th Century Europe.
Oak panel carved with a scene representing circumcision of christ . The action takes place in a church whose windows are still Roman. The characters are dressed in tunics in the medieval style. However, the parts of the panel framing the central scene were also carved with patterns which, probably very rugged, have been completely leveled off, there are still traces that can be seen in the photos.
