By ODIOT, a very fine solid silver serving platter; its edges are wavy with fillets and rich ornamentation of foliate and matte clasps, the rim engraved with a coat of arms of alliance. Minor signs of use, minimal traces of maintenance, no dents, dings, or deformations, excellent condition; a prestigious serving platter, ready for immediate use. Minerva 1st standard (950/1000) hallmark on the rim and underside of the platter. Master silversmith Gustave ODIOT (lettered O, an antique lamp lit) "L'orfèvrerie" 72 rue Basse-du-Rempart in Paris. He registered his hallmark on October 31, 1865 (cancelled on April 14, 1894). On the underside of the platter, the stamp Odiot à Paris in full, his hallmark O, an antique lamp, numbered piece.
