The bowls are openwork and highlight a magnificent monogram – the initial E – richly decorated with foliage.
The four-sided spatulas are engraved with pearls and striations.
This dessert flatware bears the swan hallmark (800) as well as that of the master silversmith Emile Puiforcat, active on rue Chapon in Paris. [The following appears to be a separate, unrelated entry:] E, SWAN HALLMARK, PUIFORCAT, partial hallmark (part of the knife and initial, 2nd initial P). On the spoon, chiseling in E, swan hallmark, silversmith's mark, beginning of the E? P for Emile Puiforcat.
