Exquisite and delicate sugar tongs in gilt silver; they are superbly openwork with fleur-de-lis buds and interlaced ornaments bearing the attributes of the Empire. Exquisitely crafted with a beautiful density. Maker's mark of Aimé Catherine Clérin (widow Lecour) (ACC, a cup, an imperial crown) received on February 12, 1807 (first mark), La Petite Grosserie silversmiths, Tableware. Hallmarks of standard and guarantee, known as "au Viellard," 1st standard (950/1000) for Paris 1819-1838. Monogram at the end.
