A very beautiful and large oil on canvas by René Cottet, painted in 1927 by his American wife, Nancy. René Cottet, a painter and engraver, was born in Paris in 1902. A student of Laguillermie and Dezarrois, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1929. The Montparnasse frame is in good condition. Please note that due to the size and relative fragility of the frame, the entire piece (canvas and frame) will be available for viewing in the Paris region.
