Artist: A.millet
Beautiful sanguine drawing signed Aimé Millet lower right. Born in 1819, died in 1891. Son of the miniaturist Frédéric Millet. Entered the École des Beaux-Arts in 1836. Student of David d'Angers and Viollet-le-Duc. Debuted at the Salon in 1840. First-class medal in 1857. The drawing is in very good and fresh condition, depicting dogs in nature and at rest. Presented with a mat.
