Oil on panel, signed by Armand Brugnaud and titled "The Vicinity of Moustier-Sainte-Marie." The painter was a French artist born in 1899 and died in 1961. Through his brushstrokes and palette, the artist skillfully captured the atmosphere and light of southern France. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon and then Paris. He also attended courses at the École des Arts Décoratifs. He taught from 1925. He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants from 1928. He was a member of the Salon d'Automne and received a gold medal from the Salon des Artistes Français. He was the curator of the Anne de Beaujeu Museum in Moulins. The painting is unframed.
