Pierre Grisot (1910-1995) was a French post-Impressionist painter famous for his portraits of refined women, his "nous" (we/us), and his dancers. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris under Gabriel Domergue, Grisot made his debut in the 1940s and exhibited from 1949 at the Ror Volmar Gallery, then quickly abroad (Brussels, Stockholm, New York, etc.). His joyful, luminous, and delicately stylized work captivates with its timeless grace.
