F. Quinque, Limoges Porcelain Vase Manufactured By Tressemanes -vogt, Roses And Daisies

Magnificent and very important Limoges porcelain vase decorated with stylized daisies within reserves of black and green. The shoulder is adorned with a ribbon of roses on a yellow background. The rim of the neck is embellished with a circular gold band. The two handles are angled and highlighted with fine gold. Our porcelain bears two stamps on the base. The first, in chrome green, is for the manufacturer who produced the piece in white, Tressemanes and Vogt, between 1891 and 1907. The second, in red, is for the Francis Quinque decorating workshop, located at 9 rue Jean Jaurès in Limoges in 1962. Quinque applied the decoration to an older mold (or blank) from an old porcelain factory. It also bears the signature "Henry Limoges" within the decoration, for the decorator who created this piece.
