Beautiful enamel depicting a view of the Pont Saint Michel and the Abbessaille district in Limoges. Our enamel was created by master enameller André Bureau on a domed copper plate and bears the artist's signature in the lower right corner. This magnificent work was entirely handcrafted; a label attesting to this is affixed to the back of the enamel. It is sold in a beautiful patinated wooden frame with black highlights; the framer's name is also inscribed on the back. As a reminder, the Abbessaille is a district of the city of Limoges, located on the banks of the Vienne River, at the foot of the historic city center, below the retaining walls of the Bishop's Gardens.
