Oil on canvas, circa 1940. Still life with apples and a scarf, signed upper right Louis Stritt (1886-1963). Dimensions: 38 x 46 cm. Louis Adolphe Stritt (1886-1963) exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, where he successively received the silver and then the gold medal. In 1993, the Roubaix Museum (La Piscine) acquired two of his paintings, "The Embroiderer" and "The Choice of Embroideries."
