"Louis XVI Musician's Chair"
An original Louis XVI style musician's chair in carved and gilded wood. Its low seat rests on four fluted legs and features a uniquely shaped backrest that gently curves around the sides, allowing ample freedom of movement for playing music thanks to the absence of armrests. The chair is beautifully crafted, with pegged joints (perfectly solid), and upholstered in Beauvais tapestries depicting musical motifs, likely from the late 18th century.
