"Antique Engraving By Carle Vanloo, 18th Century"
A very old 18th-century Carle Vanloo engraving that doesn't appear to have been trimmed. Very thick paper! See the photos for details of the technique used. I'm not very familiar with engraving techniques, so I've included close-up photos for better appreciation. In good condition (one small tear visible above the hand). The inscription reads: - Painted by LM Vanloo in 1764 - Engraved by SC Miger in 1771. It was glued to cardboard with dots, but it's worth noting traces of a previous mounting and remnants of an older mat around the edges on the back. Packaging: Item carefully packaged. Delivery: To be collected in Nevers. Delivery is possible in Paris (Paris/Nevers axis) and Montpellier.
