"19th Century Crystal And Bronze Hookah"
Antique crystal and bronze hookah/shisha, dating from the 19th century. A very beautiful Orientalist collector's item in excellent condition, except for the original hose which has two small imperfections (the woven hose, made by winding material and tying it with spiral ties, has two holes, but these can be repaired using the same technique, thus preserving the entire piece in 100% of its original condition, as seen in the photos). Otherwise, the rest is impeccable. Just needs cleaning! I do not clean the items; I leave that pleasure to the buyers to restore them. The brass mouthpiece is original, as is the entire bronze structure, including the downstem and its cut crystal flask. There is a strong possibility that this flask is a Baccarat piece made for the Oriental market, as can be seen with other objects from this period. The old adhesive bandage visible at the end of the pipe was most likely a makeshift field repair. Dimensions: The bottle itself is 25.5 cm tall, and 35.5 cm tall including the collar and bronze structure, which contains the cup. This item is intended for a serious collector of Oriental art or other unusual antique objects. Packaging: Item will be carefully packaged. Delivery: Collection in Nevers.
