"Louis XVI Bergère Chair Stamped P. Bernard"
A Louis XVI period bergère armchair in need of restoration. It is made of natural wood. It bears the stamp "P. Bernard" (in a circle) under the crossbar. Pierre Bernard was a well-known 18th-century cabinetmaker. Some of his pieces grace the most prestigious collections. It is in its original condition; the armrest scrolls have been reshaped by a dog with its teeth. A skilled cabinetmaker will restore it to its former glory! A small price for this bergère.
