"Puiforcat : Pair Of Sterling Silver Fish Servers, Elysee Pattern"
Prestigious solid silver Regency style fish service by Puiforcat, in the so-called ELYSEE pattern. This model, the epitome of elegance and refinement, has been called ELYSEE since it graced, among other places, the formal tables of the Presidents of the French Republic at the Élysée Palace since the late 1940s, thus representing the pinnacle of French tableware. This fish service is complete with its two large serving pieces, each with numbered cartouches on the spatulas. Each piece bears the Minerva 1st Standard hallmark (.925) and the hallmark of the master silversmith Emile Puiforcat. This prestigious Puiforcat ELYSEE pattern stew service is in very good condition, complete, and presented in its double-compartment pouch and original box, with minor scratches consistent with age.
