"Antique White And Gold Porcelain Coffee Service – Empire Style – Early 19th Century"
Antique white porcelain tea set, finely decorated with gold, comprising: 1 coffee pot, 1 sugar bowl with lid, 1 milk jug, 2 cups and saucers. The gilt decoration features foliage motifs, palmettes, and friezes in a neoclassical style, typical of the Empire/First Empire period. The shapes (baluster feet, scroll handles, button-shaped lid finial) and the alternating matte and glossy gilding suggest an early 19th-century production (circa 1800–1820). The sugar bowl lid has undergone an earlier restoration, visible in the photographs (old stabilization, well integrated). Signs of wear consistent with age (slight wear to the base). 2.7 kg
