A pair of small white porcelain coffee cups with a neoclassical Empire-style decoration gilded with fine gold. These are very rare children’s cups, or mocha cups, which are smaller than a standard coffee cup. Restoration period, circa 1830.
The set is in very good condition. The gilding is well-preserved with slight wear; no damage.
