18th Century Carved Wood Mirror, Louis XV Style
Mirror in carved wood, 18th century work, first half or middle. Louis XV-style openwork frame decorated with scrolls, foliage and foliage, with scrolled lines and asymmetrical composition. Carved pediment with still-balanced structure.
Original mercury glass, with oxidation, pitting and alterations to the tain. Back in antique assembled boards, with tool marks.
