Even today, once a year, these blankets are used in folk ceremonies in this city located in southwestern Turkey. In keeping with this ancestral practice, camel wool is used throughout the brown sections. Woven by hand, wool on wool, this rare and elegant piece offers subtle, harmonious vegetal hues and an irresistible softness. The weaving is remarkably executed by expert hands, regular and precise.
