Beautiful set of 6 coffee cups, classic bistro cups from king Louis Philippe period, solid and heavy, made from white porcelain with bold shapes, and, very rarely, each one has its own saucer!
After coffee finished, cup was turned upside down, and warmed rum or Calvados was poured into the basin below.
- 4 decorated with pink and gold lines, - 2 green and gold.
Very good condition, wear on the exposed rims, no more than pinhead. No cracks, no chips.
A very pretty model, and as a set of 6 (or 4 and a pair), a rarity that will be appreciated.
