In a beautiful 17cm x 16cm square case, sheathed in green and gold morocco goat leather, initials MG, and on a red chamois skin background, a set of 6 fine silver teaspoons, 14cm, hallmark of Paris, Restoration period,
( Michelangelo and average guarantee: antique mask), Goldsmith's hallmark: "COTTAT", L and the number 8, Master silversmith: Louis-Patient Cottat Received in 1831, address: 47 quai de l'Horloge in Paris.
Handle of spoons are decorated on a matte background of a fine vegetal growth with leaves cut in relief, ending by two love birds above a plain oval reserve.
14cm, weight 110gr for 6 spoons.
Good condition, they have been used very few. Box is splendid, but it lacks 1 hook. Take a good look at our photos.
