Hallmark above the lid and on the side of the base: large Paris guarantee hallmark, head of Ceres turned to the left.
Hallmark below the cover and on the side of the neck: title hallmark in the shape of an old man (known as "Michelangelo"), affixed by the Paris Office on silver works recognized with the 1st title (950 thousandths), put into service on August 16, 1819, it was deleted on May 9, 1838.
Other hallmark on the base: to be defined.
Jam maker in solid embossed and openwork silver in the shape of an antique vase, decorated with two figures in antique clothing, kneeling in front of a fire altar. The handles are in the shape of cornucopias from which the heads of winged horses emerge, the grip of the lid in a frieze of pearls. The whole resting on a square section base ending in four claw feet.
Slight dent on the tip of the lid: restoration quote on request.
