A large bedside cabinet or elegant living room piece in the Louis XV style, dating from the late 19th century and featuring a warm, golden-ochre brown *Vernis Martin* finish. Its serpentine form is accented by a brass garland frieze supporting an openwork gallery, which features a central painted panel depicting musical instruments, a book, and flowers. The piece opens via a door decorated with a *scène galante* framed by rose garlands—with acanthus leaf bronze ornamentation at the base—and displays lakeside scenes on both side panels.
