Luxurious Tiny Instrument, Carved Deer Antler, 19th Century

Beautiful and curious object, patinated antler, in shape of a classic 6-sided column, carved base and capital, presenting a tiny 15mm dog, majestically seated on this raised perch. By unscrewing the capital, we discover a long silver tip, 6cm, strong enough to unclog pipe, for example.
The column base can also be useful for stop tobacco.
Other uses no doubt, sewing or embroidery, which I didn't think of.
