Antique female portrait on dry-stamp paper, signed and dated "Mathilde Aude 1889" in the lower left corner. This elegant young woman is presented in profile, her eyes half-closed, wearing a double headband. Her posture exudes a certain serenity. The lines are delicate, the shading skillfully executed, and the drawing itself measures 34 x 28 cm. The paper is in good condition overall; a few damp stains have slightly darkened the image, but none detract from the portrait. It deserves a fine frame.
