Miniature Oil On Copper Woman From The High Renaissance
17th-century miniature on copper, most likely belonging to a noblewoman of the Austro-Hungarian court, in its original 19th-century blackened wood sliding frame. A protective, anti-reflective, UV-resistant glass pane has been added to protect the oil on copper.
A fragment of a 19th-century printed antiphonal page is affixed to the reverse.
