Late 19th-century bicorn hat in taupe-black felt, trimmed on the right side with two wide black silk ribbons, a tricolor passementerie cockade covered with a black velvet braid embroidered in cream, sky blue, and dark blue wool thread with oak and laurel leaves, secured at the bottom by a similarly embroidered black velvet button. The upper parts of the two points of the hat are adorned with a black curly goose feather. The interior lining consists of a brown morocco leather band and an ivory silk lining. Good condition. Size 56 cm.
