Navy Police Officer's Bicorne Hat With Wooden Carrying Case.

NAVY COMMISSARIAT OFFICER'S BICORNE HAT

Made of black taupe felt. The peaks are edged with black woven braid depicting branches of foliage and naval anchors. Tricolor trimmings cockade. Braiding consisting of three large silver trimmings loops wrapped around a large silver-plated metal uniform button stamped with a naval anchor. Inner lining consisting of a havana-colored morocco leather headband and a red silk lining, stamped in gold with the manufacturer’s name Gautier (with a large stylized “G” monogram).

Bicorne in very good condition. Size 55 cm.
Comes with its wooden carrying case, which shows signs of use.
