The weapon is mounted in brass, including the lock plate, which is very unusual for firearms of this period. Spanish work in dark walnut. The furniture is highlighted with floral and vegetal carvings, and it features a long butt plate, a trigger guard with a non-contiguous palm rest, and a stock that extends halfway down the barrel.
