Louis XVI Ragpicker
Elegant Louis XVI style chest of drawers, late 18th/early 19th century – Mahogany and Gray Marble. Superb mahogany chest of drawers, characteristic of the Louis XVI/Restoration style. It opens with six drawers in the front, all fitted with finely chased gilt bronze handles and keyhole escutcheons. The lower section includes a small two-door cabinet, offering additional storage space. The piece is topped with a veined gray marble slab, harmonizing with the warmth of the mahogany. The fluted uprights and tapered legs lend elegance and lightness to the whole. Beautiful patina, the piece is in good overall condition. The marble unfortunately shows some restoration.
